The Fossilized Spine is an item that can be obtained by digging Artifact Spots at the Ginger Island Southern Beach or fishing in the river next to the Dig Site.
Donation
The Fossilized Spine can be donated as part of a Large Animal to the Island Field Office, which rewards 6 Golden Walnuts once the specimen is completed.
