The Slingshot is a weapon that can be obtained from the chest on level 40 of The Mines. It requires the use of Stones or Explosive Ammo. It may also use coal, ores, wood, eggs, fruits, and vegetables as ammo.

Unlike most weapons, using the slingshot on a villager will decrease your friendship with them.

Clicking a slingshot repeatedly while attempting to leave an area will cause you not to leave, but instead stay in the same area until you stop clicking.

Ammo

To equip a slingshot with ammo, select the ammo, then Right-Click on the slingshot.

The ammo and slingshot determine the damage dealt. With the worst ammo (e.g., fruit), a Slingshot can deal 1-3 and a Master Slingshot can deal 2-6 damage. With the best ammo (Iridium Ore), a Slingshot can deal 25-101 damage while a Master Slingshot can deal 50-202 damage.
