Rock Crabs are an enemy found in The Mines.
Behavior
They disguise themselves as stones, sometimes surprising the player. When immobile they are invulnerable to attack.
Strategy
Striking a crab with a pickaxe enough times will knock rock off of the crab back and cause them to flee. Attacking in rapid succession will allow the player to kill the crab before it hides and becomes invulnerable to attack. The crab will not be invulnerable if its rock has been removed. Alternatively, one can bomb the crab to remove its stone protection:
To identify a crab, look for rocks without shadows.
