Rock Crab
Rock Crabs are an enemy found in The Mines.
Behavior
They disguise themselves as stones, sometimes surprising the player. When immobile they are invulnerable to attack, though you can hit them with your pickaxe to make them mobile again. If you use a bomb near them, their shell may be blown off, and they will run away from you.
Strategy
To identify the Rock Crab you have to look out for rocks without shadows and rocks on dirt patches except for Nodes.
Striking a crab with a pickaxe enough times will knock the rock off of the crab's back and cause them to flee. Attacking in rapid succession will allow the player to kill the crab before it hides and becomes invulnerable to attack. The crab will not be invulnerable if its rock has been removed. Alternatively, one can bomb the crab to remove its stone protection:
