The Ancient Seed is an Artifact that can be found by digging up an Artifact Spot in Cindersap Forest, the Quarry, or the Mountains, or obtained from Fishing Treasure Chests. It is also a rare drop from Bugs, Grubs, Mutant Flies, and Mutant Grubs (0.5%).
This artifact can be crafted into viable seeds that can be planted to grow an Ancient Fruit in Spring, Summer and Fall, or in the Greenhouse.
Donation
The only productive use of the first Ancient Seed artifact that you find is donating it to the Museum. The item contributes to the total count of Museum donations.
