Details

You attempt to enter Caroline's kitchen, but hear an argument between her and her daughter, Abigail. After you realize you should not be listening to this; to avoid being spotted, you take cover by the wall next to the fireplace. Abigail notices the presence of someone else, so she checks the place where you had previously hid, but finds nothing. She reaches the conclusion that the house might be haunted, and no one was actually there.
