“...Have you encountered others like me, in the mines? I'm sorry if they were hostile towards you. You see, we've learned to fear humans... there have been too many... unpleasant encounters.”
— Krobus

Krobus is the only friendly monster players will encounter. He's a shadow brute who lives in the sewers. He lives there because he's too sensitive to sunlight to go outside during the day.

He sells a variety of rare goods.

Relationships

Krobus is a shadow brute and, although he isn't hostile, still refers to other monsters as "his friends". He lives in the sewers and isn't seen outside interacting with other villagers. He's fearful of dwarves, stating that a 1000 year war between the dwarves and his people recently ended. He worries if the dwarves knew where he was they'd send an assassin.

The Wizard is aware of his presence and intervenes to prevent conflicts.

Shop

He always sells Void Essence and Solar Essence, as well as one Stardrop. In addition Krobus will also sell one other random item every day. The Iridium Sprinkler is always sold on fridays.

Krobus and the Dwarf are both in The Sewers and get into a fight based on their races' history. The player enters and gets between them, and then the Wizard appears and stops the fight. He gets them to agree to stop fighting and casts a spell to seal the agreement.

Schedule

Krobus cannot travel outside in the sun, so he can always be found in the sewers.
