Constructing the Gold Clock is necessary to achieve Perfection.

Behavior

When placed, the Gold Clock prevents debris from appearing on the farm. It also keeps any placed fences from decaying, so they'll no longer need repair.

Note that in this case, grass is not considered "debris", so it will continue to randomly appear. Trees will still grow.

Once placed, the clockface will keep time with the in-game clock.

Having a Gold Clock on the mainland will also prevent debris from appearing on the Ginger Island farm.
