Feast of the Winterstar.png

The Feast of the Winter Star takes place on the 25th of every Winter. You can enter the festival at Pelican Town Square between 9:00AM and 2:00PM, and when you leave the time will be 10:00PM.

The event works like a secret Santa where a random villager will be selected to give you a gift, and you're assigned a random villager to give a gift to. A week beforehand on the 18th, Mayor Lewis will send a letter telling you who your gift recipient is. Willy mentions the mysterious Stardrops in a story. It is unknown if this event is meant to give a Stardrop somehow.

Gift-giving

The gift you select for your villager will be worth 5x the normal amount of friendship points. When you have given your gift out, your Secret Santa will then reveal themselves and give you your present.

I would like to give you some information about an upcoming event: the Feast of the Winter Star. It's a time for the community to come together and think back on all the good fortune we've had this year. A favorite tradition is the "secret gift exchange", where everyone in town is randomly assigned to someone else. On the day of the festival, everyone brings a gift for their secret friend and surprise them with something special! This year, your secret friend is:

Bugs

When gifting to the player's Secret Gift Recipient, the entire stack of the chosen item will be given, instead of just one.

Players would be well advised to separate out one of the item (by right-clicking on the stack) before gifting it, since there is no benefit to gifting an entire stack (i.e., the Friendship Multiplier is 5x, regardless of the number of items given).
