Shane is a villager who lives in Pelican Town. He works at JojaMart and is often rude and unhappy.

It was revealed by ConcernedApe that Shane will be one of the new marriage candidates in an upcoming update.

Regular Schedule
7:00 AM	Marnie's Ranch	Leave the ranch and walks to JojaMart.
9:00 AM	JojaMart	Arrives for his shift at JojaMart. He cannot be interacted with while at work.
5:00 PM	JojaMart	Leaves work at JojaMart and walks to the saloon.
6:00 PM	The Saloon	Arrives at the saloon.
11:00 PM	The Saloon	Leaves the saloon to head back to the ranch for the night.
12:30 AM	Marnie's Ranch	Arrives at the ranch.

If JojaMart is closed after you have unlocked the Community Center he will stay at home instead of going to work.

You will find Shane filming a scene starring Emily and Clint. Shane will explain to you that Joja is holding a contest and the winner gets data-sort-value="10000">10,000g. He will ask you to walk behind Clint and Emily as they act so the scene feels more natural. When it's over, he will thank you for helping him.
