The Son of Crimsonfish is one of the five Legendary Fish that must be caught for Mr. Qi's Extended Family Quest. It has the same sell price, healing effect, location, and chance of hooking as the Crimsonfish. It can only be caught when the quest is active, but more than one can be caught per quest.

Quests
Son of Crimsonfish must be caught for the Extended Family Quest.
Bugs
- It is impossible to catch the Son of Crimsonfish during the Night Market (Winter 15-17). Thus, if the player receives the Extended Family Quest during the 3rd week of Winter, they should not accept the quest on Winter 15 or else it will be impossible to complete.

- 1.6: Legendary Fish II Roe now obtainable by the power from the Jewels Of The Sea book. Introduced bug preventing the fish being caught during the Night Market.
