The Lava Eel is a fish that can be found in the Mines on the 100th floor during all seasons. It requires Fishing Level 7, either naturally or using Fishing Buffs.

It is the only fish, besides the Ghostfish, that may be caught on the 100th floor of the Mines. For the standard fish, it is the most difficult to catch and the most expensive. This does not count the legendary fish.
