The Scorpion Carp is a fish that can be found in The Desert during all seasons and can also randomly be purchased from the Traveling Cart for between 
450–1,000g.
It is the only other fish that can be caught in the Desert, besides the Sandfish. Since it is more valuable than the Sandfish, it is also more rare to get a bite from a Scorpion Carp, and the difficulty is significantly greater. Catching the Scorpion Carp requires Fishing level 4, either naturally or by using fishing Buffs.

Quests
Scorpion Carp may be randomly requested after the player has completed the Vault Bundles at the "Help Wanted" board outside Pierre's General Store for a reward of 450g and 150 Friendship points.
