The Woodskip is a fish that can be found in the pond in the Secret Woods in any season. It is most prevalent there on non-rainy days, comprising 15% to 27% of all items caught, depending upon fishing skill. The woodskip is most likely to spawn farther from shore, so a longer cast will modestly increase the odds of catching it instead of the carp which are also in the pond.

The woodskip can also be found on The Farm, provided the player chose the Forest Farm.
