Deluxe Speed-Gro is a Fertilizer that speeds crop growth by 25% (or a total of 35% with the Agriculturist Profession)^[1]. It can be crafted or purchased from Pierre's General Store for data-sort-value="150">150g from year 2 onward, or purchased from the Oasis for data-sort-value="80">80g on Thursdays. Ten Deluxe Speed-Gro may also be received as a gift at the Feast of the Winter Star.

Deluxe Speed-Gro can be placed on tilled soil before or after planting a seed, or at any stage of crop growth. It does not reduce time between harvests for multi-harvest crops.

Deluxe Speed-Gro Cost

Crafting Deluxe Speed-Gro is always cheaper than purchasing it. The table below compares the cost of crafting 5 Deluxe Speed-Gro against purchasing the same amount at the Oasis or Pierre's. The cost of crafting is the sell price of the constituent ingredients.

However, Oak Resin is contested if the player is also expanding their supply of Kegs, and the supply of Coral is limited, so the player can only acquire unbounded amounts of fertilizer by purchasing. Nonetheless, it is readily possible to achieve a profit by using purchased Deluxe Speed-Gro.

For example, in the scenario of growing Starfruit in the Greenhouse for wine, the amount of additional starfruit produced in the limited growing area can be increased by ~45% using Deluxe speed grow. Assuming unlimited availability of Kegs for this calculation, each Deluxe Speed-Gro used results in 2250*0.45=~1012g of additional revenue and if considering Seed costs, then the final additional revenue would be (2250-400)*0.45=~832g (or +1237g with the Artisan skill). Given the price of 80g to purchase in the Oasis, the resulting profit is 1237-80 = 1157g per Deluxe Speed-Gro used.

Deluxe Speed-Gro can be used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the dyeable High-Waisted Shirt. It can be used in dyeing, serving as an orange dye at the dye pots, located in Emily's and Haley's house, 2 Willow Lane.

Deluxe Speed-Gro is not used in any quests.
