The Bee House is a type of Artisan Equipment used to make Honey. To make honey, place a Bee House on the farm and wait for ≈4 days. A Bee House is the reward for completing the Fall Crops Bundle in the Pantry.

Bee houses can be placed inside the Greenhouse, but will not produce honey there. Bee houses placed outside the farm will produce wild honey every ≈4 days (i.e., the Bus Stop, Pelican Town, The Beach, The Mountain, Railroad, Cindersap Forest, The Desert, and the Secret Woods). Bee houses must not be placed in a villager's path, or they will be destroyed.

Placing a flower within proper range of a Bee House will produce flower honey, which always sells for more than flowerless Wild Honey. Some flowers (i.e., Crocus, Sunflower, and Sweet Pea) do not influence the sell price of honey.

If a Bee House has produced flower honey, but the flower is harvested before the honey, the honey will become "Wild Honey." Similarly, if a Bee House is removed with a tool while it has flower honey ready for harvesting, the honey will go into inventory as "Wild Honey."

Flowers grown in Garden Pots will not cause Bee Houses to produce flower honey.

With the exception of Crocus, Sunflower, and Sweet Pea, the Bee House can produce unique types of honey when it is in range of a blooming flower (within 5 tiles horizontally and 4 tiles vertically, minus one tile at the top and bottom right). When there is more than one type of flower within range, the closest flower takes priority. At equal distance, the most expensive flower takes priority.

Notes

Processing time calculates differently while sleeping than while awake. 1 hour = 60 minutes when awake but = 100 minutes when sleeping. So if you sleep a whole day, the machine would process 2400 minutes (100 × 24). If you work from 6:00AM till 12:00AM and sleep 6 hours, the machine will process 1680 minutes a day (60 × 18 + 100 × 6). If you work from 6:00AM till 2:00AM and faint 4 hours, the machine will process 1600 mins a day (60 × 20 + 100 × 4).

In addition, when you place the Bee House on or after you harvested a Honey, the time left will intermediately be subtracted by the time already passed this day, start from 00:00 (so past 00:00 will make much less time to be subtracted), and each whole hour passed will be count as 100 minutes. For example, if you harvest a Honey on 6:00AM, the time left will be 6120 minutes(6120-600), if on 10:40PM, it will be 4480 minutes (6720-2240), and if on 00:20, the time left will be 6700 minutes (6720-30).
